Hostforweb's VPS offering is quite a mixed bag. A lot of the setup and management falls on you to sort out! There’s no automatic antivirus, email servers, or FTP; you gotta raise tickets yourself to get things set up or fixed. Honestly, it would be super helpful to have a required script for all new VPS since it’s totally unmanaged. There aren’t any clear guidelines or tips for folks who aren’t tech-savvy... but I gotta say, their chat support has really improved lately (it was pretty rough before).
